Tasks of the Championship:
• Promotion of a new sport – Power Snatch (sum of the two disciplines – bench press, deadlift).
• Achievement of higher athletic results in the League divisions.
• Promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Promotion of the city of Arkhangelsk as a city promoting the development of power sports.
• The selection of the best world athletes to participate in the tournament “Battle of Champions” Arkhangelsk 2013 “.

Professional – snatch (bench press, deadlift)

Admission to the 2nd SPSS championship in power snatch and individual disciplines – bench press, deadlift.
Admission by the Grade 2 Entry weights.

Awards:
Medals for 1-3 places in the championship divisions (in categories of up to 110 kg. and over 110 kg.)
Giant Medal – winner in GIANTS Cup.

SPSS symbols:
GIANTS Cup;
GIANTS Cup – the symbol of the absolute achievement in RAW powerlifting;
From the 2nd SPSS Championship the cup is engraved with the information (start, the name, result) about the winner in the nomination of the Giants Cup.
Cup is not transferred to the winner – is deposited in the SPSS as relics of the League and used for the further absolute SPSS results fixing.

RECORD-HOLDERS Cup;
From the 2nd SPSS Championship the cup is engraved with the information (start, the name, result) about the winner in the nomination of the RECORD-HOLDERS Cup.
Cup is not transferred to the winner – is deposited in the SPSS as relics of the League and used for the further absolute SPSS results fixing.

The total prize fund – 15.000.00 $.
The prize fund – Power Snatch.
The winner of the GIANTS Cup (determined by the absolute offset – the maximum weight lifted).
3000 $.
The mechanism of the prize money distribution in the overall classification (on the coefficient).
First place $ 3000.
Second place $ 2,000.
Third Place $ 1,000.
The prize fund in individual disciplines (bench press, deadlift):
Prize money in the professional division.

In the competitions sanctioned by the League of Power Sports (SPSS) the WPC Federation refereeing rules with significant additions (SPSS standards) are applied

Additions to the WPC Federation rules:
In the bench press discipline, the WPC federation refereeing rules with the following SPSS standards are applied:
In the bench press the Chief Referee gives the athlete performing in the discipline three commands – start, press, rack (instead of 2 commands accepted in the WPC federation rules).
The final competitive result is the best one of the four attempts in the discipline.
In the 3rd and 4th attempts – the weight order is permitted in 1 kg in comparison with the previous attempt
In the deadlift discipline, the WPC federation refereeing rules with the following SPSS standards are applied:

Equipment: wrist wraps, belt (according to the WPC federation rules of the RAW competitions).

Entry fees for participation in the 2nd SPSS championship.
€ 50 (paid at the weighing – registration).
Rules of SPSS provide compensation of the entry fees for:
The winners of the 2nd SPSS championship.
Cup winners of the 2nd SPSS championship.
The absolute record (record set during the 2nd SPSS championship).
